Welcome to Wiley Canning Company

We are committed to food preservation. We create recipes focused on canned, pickled, and preserved fruits and vegetables. Additionally, we are committed to human connection. We teach workshops and host events centered around shared ingredients, space, and dialogue. Our recipes, workshops, and events celebrate and protect seasonal flavors, efforts, and experiences.

We are home to The Wiley Canning Company Cookbook and The Wiley Subscription. Learn more in detail about who we are, what we offer, and more.

We’re grateful for your curiosity, and we’re here to answer questions at any time.

The Latest:

The Wiley Canning Company Cookbook is a guide to home food preservation rooted in seasonality, education, and family.

I focus equally on seasonal recipes and the foundational knowledge required to preserve food with a sharp intuition and holistic understanding. No matter where you live—a downtown high-rise, suburban bungalow, or countryside ranch—these recipes are for you. In fact, most recipes were created using produce from local farmers’ markets in Nashville, Tennessee. As you use this cookbook, you will become a steward of your local land, farms, and home.

The Wiley Canning Company Cookbook includes a foreword by Caroline Randall Williams, Nashville-based author, chef, activist, and teacher.

WILEY RECIPES

We create and share canning, pickling, and preserving recipes. Our recipes are repeatedly tested, easily scalable, and uniquely delicious. We intend for you to use our recipes at home and in your own canning practice. We aim to remain in rhythm with agricultural seasonality, source locally, and honor the farmers and gardeners from whom we source.
